Memorial Day weekend is nearly upon us, and Avi is thrilled to launch rockets into the sky above the Colorado River on Sunday, May 29, at 8:30 PM. This is a public event and everyone is invited!
If you’re a local, or a regular visitor to Laughlin—especially if your visits are on holiday weekends—you know that Avi Resort & Casino doesn’t wait for the Fourth of July to set off a major fireworks display. Beginning in 1996 and continuing every year until the COVID-19 outbreak, Avi has been filling the skies above the Colorado River with the amped-up creations of Zambelli Fireworks on Memorial Day, the Fourth of July, and Labor Day weekends. Zambelli Fireworks is one of the largest fireworks companies in the world with a history dating back to 1893.
Avi’s 2022 Memorial Day Fireworks Show kicks off early with all-day music on the beach and grounds.

Radio personalities from the KNACK 107.1 FM will set the mood and get the party started with a 2-hour live radio remote broadcast from Avi’s Beach Overlook, from 6:30PM – 8:30PM. Look forward to games, giveaways, prizes, and live call-ins!
Avi wants this to be BIGGEST and BEST Fireworks Show we’ve ever had, and we know you will agree it is. For ideal seating, make your way to the lawn behind the casino to Avi’s Beach Overlook, make yourself comfortable, and fasten your seatbelt! The beautifully-choreographed music you hear throughout the show will be simulcast on the KNACK 107.1 FM.
After the show, head back inside to dance the night away with DJ Creative in ArrowWeed Lounge. DJ Creative will be performing live from 7PM – 12:30AM. Got the late-night hungries? Feathers Café will be open until midnight with a limited menu after 9PM.
