Director of Finance (1): Manages the accounting department; reviews monthly closing journal entries, oversees the preparation of the monthly financial statements, reviews the balance sheet account reconciliations. In addition, the Director of Finance prepares the budget for the general administration department and oversees the preparation of the yearly budget with the General Manager. Insures compliance with all gaming regulations, compliance with currency transaction and suspicious activity reporting, and assists external auditors. Reviews the work performed by the Controller, Hotel Controller, Assistant Cash Controller and Assistant Casino Controller. Must have a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, CPA preferred, at least five years’ experience as a controller of a resort/casino. Must have strong knowledge of Nevada MICS, currency transaction and suspicious activity reporting, have strong computer skills with knowledge of Excel, Word, Great Plains, CMS, SDS, LMS, Infogenesis and MMS. Must be willing to submit all required personal information for licensing as a key employee with the Nevada Gaming Control Board and Commission.
