Laughlin, Nevada - This past Sunday, many Americans stayed at home rooting for their favorite teams to win the big game. Those who entered the Avi Resort and Casino in Laughlin, Nevada came in partake in a casino wide party for the big game. Little did they know many of them were about to take part in an exciting evening and sharing $50,000.
The casino was bustling, finely dressed in football décor for the big game. There were only few empty slots remaining, the pit was packed and many times filled to capacity. Others enjoyed the game off the floor, alongside the RoadRunner Bar where they could enjoy libations and hear if they won one of the many prizes being raffled at the Advantage Club.
But the real excitement was in the invitation only VIP party located in the grand ballroom. Guests could feel the excitement of the game as eight large screens and premium sound surrounded them. As guests entered they were wearing either a green or orange wristband, separating fans for various raffles. Entering the second half, these wristbands no longer mattered. The room lost their team affiliation and were all rooting for the same thing… $50,000.
As the second half commenced, everyone was on their feet. The Bronco’s kicked off, hoping for a come back, then to everyone’s dismay, Percy Harvin snags the ball and takes off towards the end zone. As he’s running, for each yard gained, the crowd gets louder and for the first time all night, the Bronco fans in the room are on their feet, praying he gets across that line! Then it happens, he scores the touch down! The room erupts! Everyone who had registered their Advantage Card prior to the second half just had a cut of $50,000!
